Preparing children for their first Martial Arts class is wise, as some children may be shy, nervous, or uncertain, this is stressful for some children.
We recommend that parents do their best in informing and explaining to the child what they are about to get into in a positive way like Martial Arts is fun, it will make you strong, you will make new friends, etc.
Parents should also call the instructors and inform them of any issues that their children have such as; the child is very shy, motor skills issues, hyperactive, poor focus, poor listening skills, poor fitness, etc. This will help the instructor in accommodating your child and addressing the issues that you have.
Also do not forget to dress the child in comfortable clothing and ensure that you bring enough water.
